Troubleshooting Connection Disruptions in Wingify

Quite possible that one could experience disruption in the campaign creation flow, especially when a popup or an iframe is involved. Consider you’re attempting to create a test campaign. After specifying the campaign URL, you’re going to create your variations in the Wingify Editor, which opens in a new tab. However, this process doesn’t occur as expected. Instead, you’re shown the following alert:

As a result, you will not be able to access the Wingify Editor to create variations.

This popup is also displayed when connections disruptions are encountered while attempting the following actions for the respective campaign types or areas in Wingify:

Check Adblocker and Browser Extensions

Adblockers can potentially prevent the essential Wingify popups and iframes from appearing. You can temporarily disable the adblockers and other browser extensions that could possibly be interfering with the API connection.

Firewall Restrictions

At times, your device’s firewall settings could be preventing the API from establishing a connection. Check your firewall configuration to ensure that it allows outbound connections to the API.
