Integrate Wingify with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce

#Overview

This article guides you on how to add the Wingify SmartCode to your website built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce platform. This integration enables you to utilize Wingify's powerful A/B web experimentation, personalization, and conversion optimization features on your e-commerce platform.

Prerequisites:

• You must have an active Wingify account.
• You must have Administrator-level access to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce site builder.

#Generate your Wingify SmartCode

Once you register your website, Wingify generates a SmartCode for it. When you add this SmartCode to your website, it establishes a connection with Wingify, allowing you to run experiments, track goals, and collect insights.

To add the SmartCode to your website manually:

1. Log in to your Wingify account.
2. From the left navigation menu, navigate toConfigurations>Websites and Apps.
3. Select your domain under the Websites and Appssection.
4. Go to Code > HTMLtab.
5. Click Copy to copy the SmartCode.

Now, you need to add this SmartCode to your website built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce platform. The following section explains how you can do that.

#Add Wingify SmartCode to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Website

1. Log in to your Dynamics 365 Commerce environment and select the website you wish to modify.
2. Navigate to Site Builder.
3. Go to Templates and open the template you use for your website pages.
4. Expand the template hierarchy.
5. Click the ellipsis  (...) adjacent to the template component (for example, HTML Head, Body Begin, or Body End) where you want the script to load and select Add module. 
   

   

6. Select Inline scriptand click OK.
7. Paste your Wingify SmartCode into the Inline script property and click Finish editing.
