Integrate Wingify With Tealium Using the Tealium IQ Tag Manager

#Overview

Integrating Tealium’s real-time marketing solution with Wingify’s optimization platform enables you to create a unified agile marketing experience for your business. The end-to-end process of integrating Tealium with Wingify is a three-step process.

1. Add the Wingify tag
2. Configure the tag
3. Add Tealium Code

#Add the Wingify Tag

The first step in integrating Wingify with Tealium is to add the Wingify tag in Tealium.

Procedure

1. Log in to your Tealium account.

2. From the Tealium dashboard, go to the Tags tab.

3. To add a tag, click +Add Tag present on the bottom right of the page.

   

4. In the Tag Marketplace UI, search Visual Website Optimizer (Async) from the available tags and add it using the +Add option.

   

#Configure the Tag

Once you have added the Wingify tag in Tealium, the next step is configuring the tag settings.

Procedure

1. Go to Tags Settings > Tag Configuration.

2. Enter your Wingify account ID in the Account field under the Vendor Configuration section.

   

3. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings section and set Wait Flag to No.

   

4. Likewise, set the Synchronous Load to Yes.
   A warning prompt appears.

   

5. To proceed with the integration, click Continue.

6. Once you are done configuring the tag, click Save/Publish to finalize the changes.

   

#Add Tealium Code

The last step in Wingify-Tealium integration is adding the Tealium code to your webpages.

Procedure

1. To retrieve the Tealium synchronous code, click on your account dropdown present on the top right of the page and choose the option Code Center.

   

2. On the Code Center page, select the environment as Prod.

3. Select the Javascript Type as Synchronous.

   Note: If you are already using the asynchronous code in Tealium, please make sure to change it to synchronous code.

   

4. Copy the Tealium code present in the Tealium Script tab under the Code Snippet section and add it to your web pages. Your Wingify account is now integrated with Tealium.
