Integrate Wingify with Mixpanel

#Overview

Mixpanel is a tool that helps you analyze how visitors interact with your website, and it provides interactive reports that let you query and visualize the results with just a few clicks. By integrating Wingify with Mixpanel, you can:

• Send Wingify campaign and insights data to Mixpanel
• Send Wingify mobile app session recording data to Mixpanel
• Import Mixpanel cohorts into Wingify

#Before You Begin

Before you begin, ensure the following:

• You have an active Mixpanel account.
• The Mixpanel JS/Web SDK is implemented on your webpage.
• The Wingify SmartCode is installed on your website.

Attention: These steps are exclusive to Mixpanel JS/Web SDK. If you're using the Mixpanel JS/Web SDK via the Node Package Manager, you must use the Wingify Mixpanel integration plugin to implement this integration. Remember that the integration via the Node Package Manager does not allow you to choose which campaign data is sent from your Wingify account to Mixpanel. It streams all of the active campaign data from Wingify to Mixpanel.

#Create a Mixpanel Connection in Wingify

Wingify supports the following Mixpanel connection types:

• Send campaign data to Mixpanel: Sends Wingify campaign and variation data to Mixpanel for reporting and analysis.
• Import Cohorts from Mixpanel: Allows you to target visitors in Wingify using Mixpanel Cohorts.
• Send Insights - Mobile App data to Mixpanel: Allows you to analyze and report on Wingify mobile insights in Mixpanel.
• Send survey data to Mixpanel: Allows you to analyze and report on Wingify survey responses in Mixpanel.

To create a Mixpanel connection in your Wingify account:

1. Log in to your Wingify account.
2. From the left panel, navigate to Configurations > Integrations.
3. Click the Mixpanel integration tile and click Create Connection.
4. Select the type of connection you want to configure.

All configured connections appear under the Active Connections section on the Mixpanel integration page.

Note: To set a connection as your default, switch on the Default toggle for the relevant connection under Active Connections. Once set, Wingify automatically applies this connection to all new campaigns. Existing campaigns remain unaffected. If no connection is marked as default, or if multiple connections are configured, you must manually select the correct connection for each new campaign.

To enable this integration at the campaign level:

1. Go to Experimentation > Web Experimentation and select a campaign.
2. From Configuration > Integrations, select Mixpanel.
