What are Wingify Engage Chiclets and How do I Customize It?

#Overview

A Wingify Engage (Formerly PushCrew) chiclet is a small, rectangular box that appears on the side of your website, like the one in the image below (where the arrow is pointing).

Note: Chiclets are available only for HTTP accounts.

#What Does a Chiclet Do?

The chiclet allows a user to subscribe to web push notifications sent by your website, in case the user did not subscribe on their first visit. When a user clicks this chiclet, a child window opens up, carrying an opt-in box requesting the user's permission to send web push notifications. You can also disable or customize this on your Dashboard.

A chiclet is made visible to your website visitor in the following scenarios:

1. If a user clicks on the Allow button on the first opt-in box but closes the child window
2. If a user clicks on the Allow button on the first opt-in box but then clicks on Deny on the 2nd opt-in box. In this case, the Chiclet appears in the child window.
3. If a user clicks on the Don’t Allow button on the first opt-in box.

#How to Enable the Wingify Engage Chiclet?

To activate the Wingify Engage Chiclet for your HTTP website:

1. Log into your Wingify Engage dashboard, and click on the Settings icon on the top right.
   Then click Opt-in > Two-step opt-in> Advanced

2. Go to Chiclet Settings. Now, scroll down, and you will see an option, Chiclet Settings, highlighted in the red box.

   Here, you can customize the chiclet's specifications.

   1. Chiclet Position on the Web(1): Choose the location of the chiclet to be displayed on the visitor's Desktop screen.
   2. Chiclet Position on Mobile (2): Choose the location of the chiclet to be displayed on the visitor's Mobile screen.
   3. Chiclet Text(3): Type the chiclet text you want your users to see. Example: Get notifications, See notifications, Receive notifications, etc.
   4. Background Color (4): Choose the background color of the chiclet.
   5. Text Color (5): Choose the text color of the chiclet.

3. Click on Full Preview

   See how the chiclet would appear to your visitors before making it live by clicking on Full Preview.
